1st Asian & Pacific Islander Resiliency Summit: Friday, May 12, 2023

We’re proud to announce the 1st Asian & Pacific Islander (API) Resiliency Summit! This first-of-its-kind event in the Central Valley will take place on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 9-3:30 PM PST at San Joaquin Delta College.

The API Resiliency Summit is a unique opportunity for formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted APIs, directly affected people, activists, advocates, experts, and policymakers from across the region to come together, connect, and offer reassurance, resources, and restoration to our communities.

The summit is created by, created for, led by, and driven by formerly incarcerated individuals and is sponsored by the City of Stockton's Office of Violence Prevention, Empowering Marginalized Asian Communities, and San Joaquin Delta College's Phoenix Project.

The summit will include food, clothing, speakers, performers, community resource tables, a re-entry panel, and interactive workshops on financial literacy and the importance of credit, healing past trauma, career development, and the importance of history and identity in empowering our lives.
