EMAC attends the Northern California Stop the Hate Learning Circle #StopTheHate #StopAsianHate

What an absolute honor to convene and be in community with one another to #StopTheHate! Over 25 organizations from across the region gathered to share lessons and wisdom at the Stop The Hate Learning Circle hosted by The Center at The Sierra Health Foundation.

Discussions included:

  • Navigating hard conversations and naming racism and white supremacy as the root of hate towards marginalized communities.

  • What it takes to build a movement centered on healing and justice.

  • Confronting our own traumas for the liberation of our communities.

  • Paving the way for younger generations to lead movements for community healing.

We are in complete awe of the power and wisdom shared among these changemakers across the Central Valley. We are grateful for this opportunity to build on our collaborative efforts and learn from each other's collective wisdom and shared stories.

If you or anyone you know has been impacted by any form of hate and is interested in our services (healing circles, Heath clinics, self-defense trainings, self-defense resources and tools), email info@emacstockton.org and report a hate crime at tinyurl.com/209APICanti-asianviolencedata.
