What a blessing to be in community to reflect, evaluate, and experience joy! The SEAYP UNITY cohort was able to spend the day in Santa Cruz providing feedback on Friday's youth-led community event and the summer program in general. They shared feedback and affirmations and spent some quality time enjoying the boardwalk and sharing a meal! 💙🌊✊🏽

In the last few weeks of the SEAYP leadership program, this year’s cohort UNITY participated in a couple activities informed and developed by Black, Indigenous and Asian American feminist writers. UNITY created their own “Problem Tree” to identify the everyday manifestations, assumptions, and ideologies of social issues they see in Stockton. We had deep conversations centered around care, transformative justice, and community accountability.

Register to attend UNITY's Community Social Friday, July 28th 2-4 PM PST at Delta College’s Danner Hall!
