December 2nd, 2024 marked the People’s March, where EMAC joined dozens of other organizations and community members at the state capitol in Sacramento to DEMAND pro-immigration legislation and a COMPLETE END to the corrupt systems that ICE upholds.
Now that it is February 2025 and Trump and his administration have officially been inaugurated, we see that these demands and needs have STILL not been met, putting our immigrant and refugee communities at risk, harm, and vulnerable to the hands of ICE. We know now more than ever that we have to continue marching for and with our people, to keep demanding, and to devote ourselves to building more community power 🚫🧊✊🏽‼️ #ICEoutofCalifornia
